Super Duplex Steel Alloy 2507 & F55 Fittings Overview
Zeon Exports supplies Super Duplex Steel Alloy 2507 & F55 (UNS S32760, Zeron 100) fittings – elbows, tees, reducers, caps and stub ends – with added copper and tungsten for outstanding resistance to sulphide-stress and sour-gas corrosion in offshore piping.
Super Duplex Steel Alloy 2507 & F55 Fittings (Zeron 100) connect and direct piping runs carrying the most severe chloride and sour-gas process streams in offshore and subsea systems. Its 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 3.6% molybdenum composition with added copper and tungsten gives outstanding resistance to sulphide-stress corrosion cracking, making it a preferred choice wherever standard duplex fittings risk sour-gas cracking.
- PREN ≥40 with added tungsten for extra sour-service resistance
- Yield ≥550 MPa, elongation ≥25% for strength and ductility
- EN 10204 3.1 certified, export-ready worldwide

Corrosion Resistance of Super Duplex Steel Alloy 2507 & F55
- With a PREN of 40 or higher, Super Duplex Steel Alloy 2507 & F55 Fittings significantly outperform standard duplex 2205 in aggressive chloride and sour media.
- Pitting resistance: excellent resistance to chloride-induced pitting in seawater and brine.
- Crevice resistance: strong performance at welded and flanged fitting joints.
- Sulphide-SCC resistance: added copper and tungsten give outstanding resistance to sulphide-stress cracking in sour-gas environments.
Heat Resistance of Super Duplex Steel Alloy 2507 & F55
Alloy 2507 & F55 fittings are generally not recommended for extended exposure above roughly 300°C (572°F), as this can substantially reduce toughness. Always confirm exact service limits against the governing standard and application before specifying.
